EU Citizens
Citizens of EU countries doesn’t need visa in order to travel to Romania, no matter the period and the purpose of the trip.

US Citizens
US Citizens doesn’t need visa in order to travel to Romania.
If the period of the staying exceeds 90 days, they have to apply with the Passport Authority in order to extend the Visa.

Canadian Citizens
Canadian Citizens don’t need visa for entering Romania.
If the period of the staying exceeds 30 days, they have to apply with the Passport Authority in order to extend the Visa.

Israeli Citizens
Israeli Citizens must apply for visa with Romanian Consulate from Israel prior to arrive in the country.
If the period of the staying is exceeds visa period, they have to apply with the Passport Authority in order to extend the Visa.

Temporary Residency Permit - “Green Book”
The Temporary Residency Permit is the official document issued by the Romanian authorities for the expats residents in Romania.
For EU Citizens, it is optional either to apply or not for the Green Book.

Working Permits
The working permit is the official document issued by the Romanian Labour and Social Security Ministry, which allows the expats to be employed in the country.
